Asphalt Drum Mix Plant Process
Asphalt components are continuously fed into the drum to produce hot mixes on a regular basis. The main hot mix elements are aggregates, asphalt and mineral fillers. The aggregate is transferred from the feed bin to the drum by a conveyor. The burner removes moisture from the aggregate and then heats the aggregate to the desired temperature. The hot aggregate is mixed and coated with asphalt and filler. The hot mix is transferred from the drum to the vehicle via a load conveyor. The feed bin, the pumping unit with the asphalt storage tank and the mineral filling machine cooperate with each other to maintain the proper proportion of hot mix ingredients. Dust is collected by the dust collector, and passed through the dust removal system before it emission into the environment.

Process Flow
After the cold aggregate is poured into a suitable hopper according to the particle size, it is conveyed to the vibrating screen by a conveyor belt. In the vibrating screen, the cold aggregate with a particle size larger than 4 cm is filtered out, and other cold aggregates are sent to a drying drum through belt conveyor. The dried and heated hot aggregate enters the elevator from the burner end of the drying drum.
With its help, the hot aggregate reaches the vibrating screens. Screen the thermal aggregates into different silos based on the size of the grid. By accurate weighing, the hot aggregate from different silos is added to the mixer in batches according to the previously specified ratio. Occasionally, mineral powders also fall off the screw conveyor and heated liquid asphalt is ejected from the nozzle. After mixing, another batch produces the finished mixture.
Process Flow
The drying drum of asphalt drum mixing plant has the functions of drying, heating and mixing. The cold aggregate enters the non-stop drum from the hopper through the conveyor belt, in which the cold aggregate is sequentially dried and heated. Nozzles in the drying bucket spray the asphalt continuously, and as the bucket rotates, the mixture flows out uninterrupted.
