What is Asphalt Plant?
Asphalt plant, also called asphalt batch mix plant, blends asphalt, crushed stone, ore powder fiber in a certain ratio, and heats them to the temperature which is suitable for mixing status. It can produce asphalt mixture, modified asphalt mixture and colored asphalt mixture. Asphalt mixing equipment mainly consists of cold aggregate batching system, drying and heating system, combustion system, hot material lifting, vibrating screen, hot material storage bin, weighing and mixing system, asphalt supply system, powder supply system, dust removal system, finished product bin and control system.
Cold Aggregate System

How does An Asphalt Plant Work?
1) First, the control room issues a start-up command. After receiving the relevant command, the the relevant materials (aggregate, powder) in the cold storage bin are transferred to the drying drum by a belt conveyor for drying. The material hoist conveys it to the vibrating screen and performs the screening process.
(2) The sieved materials are delivered to different hot storage bins, and the materials are measured by electronic scales, and then placed in the mixing tank. Then the hot asphalt is weighed and sprayed into the mixing tank Inside.
(3) Fully mixing various materials in the mixing tank to be the final product and transporting it to the bucket truck. The bucket truck conveys through the track, unloading the finished product into the storage bin, and puts it on the transport car through the discharge gate.
